Grey is Many Colors

A few years ago, I had created this painting using a limited grey palette and called it “Grey is Beautiful Too” but I was never completely happy with it. I realized that it needed the colors behind the grey in the sky and water to tell the story.

So, I took it out of the frame and added the colors of light in the sky behind the clouds and in the water. It feels more lively and invites me for a morning walk on the beach. Now it is called “Grey is Beautiful”.
